Being half Scots, Rod MacArthur has been interested in the Jacobite Risings (or Rebellions, depending on your point of view) for many years.  He has now prepared a talk on the 1745 conflict.

The talk covers the background to the rising, the campaign itself and the aftermath.  As well as the main battles, it covers several little known events and interesting stories.

The talk is 55 minutes long.  All Rod’s talks are given to raise funds for charities, in this case for Combat Stress, which provides support and treatment to military veterans with mental health problems to help them tackle the past and take on the future.
